The principle in making the feed of laying ducks

1. Know What Will We Use

The introduction of the raw material that we will use is an important part of the manufacture of feed ducks. Each ingredient contains different nutrients, in what condition is still fit for use or not, whether the material contains anti-nutritive or not, whether the material is easily accessible and available at all times ?, how penyajiannnya good and the most important thing is how much it costs because the purpose of dispensing feed itself is a cheap price / efficiency.

By knowing the raw materials we can choose the best for our rations, suppose we choose oils to increase energy metabolism definitely we will choose CPO CPO because it contains carotene (yellow coloring of eggs), ptorein and other minerals needed ducks than regular cooking oil.

Bran husk prone polluted, prone mixed janggelnya corn, fish meal mixed waste prone salted fish and grits, soybean meal mixed prone epidermis so low protein. Indonesia this dude !!! ha ha ha

2. Check water levels

The water content of a material determines the amount of nutrients per weight of material that we can use and also the shelf life of a material if not outright we use / store. The feed material that has a low water content is relatively safe from microorganisms semcam bacteria and fungi that can cause a decrease in the quality of materials or even decomposition. Drying is an attempt to reduce the moisture content of a material that is safe from interference microorganisms. The water content of the good material is less than or equal to 14%. To check the moisture content of a feed material we can use the Grain Moisture.

3. Volume Material

Decrease the volume of feed material means making more digestible feed ingredients and make the mixture more homogeneous feed material / price and also makes the efficiency of feed ingredients, especially for feed rations pellet form. Digestion is different from the animals' digestion of poultry breeding bermamah which require poultry feed ingredients quickly absorbed, so the smaller the material more easily absorbed. To minimize the volume of material we can use the machine disk mill or a hummer mill.

4. Mix Material With Avg

Weakness homemade ration is uneven mixing process so that when we take a part and then we compare it with other sections will be obtained different nutrient content. To minimize the unevenness / a homogenous mixture we can do with the smallest volume mixing section first with the larger part or consecutive to completion by using a horizontal mixer.

5. Balance of Animal and Plant Sources Feed

Basically ducks eating everything (omnivorous) so that we provide any ration should contain a balance of animal and vegetable elements. animal protein is usually worth considering, but full of amino acids whereas vegetable protein is worth the cost, but incomplete.

6. Add Feed Supplements

Feed Supplement is supplemental nutrition materials given to meninggkatkan nutrition ration. Why a ration should be given additional nutrition ration when it has had its own nutrients? because it could have the nutrients lost through this process of rations or the amount is not sufficient for the needs of our ducks.

Feed supplements are divided into three types namely:
Vitamin A.
Vitamins are needed in small amounts but very important presence in feed rations. Vitamins are needed ducks namely Vitamin A, D, E, K and Bcomplek and C
B. Mineral
As Vitamin mineral is also needed in small amounts but vital for the body's metabolic processes ducks. Minerals needed ducks among which are: Calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P) and Trace Minerals such as: Manganese (Mn), Iron / Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn) Iodine (I) and Selenium (Se )
C. essential amino acids
Essential amino acids are amino acids that must be present in the ration because ducks can not synthesize / produce their own. Essential amino acids in poultry including lysine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan.

Now commercially available feed supplement containing vitamins, minerals and amino acids

7. Add Feed Additive

Feed Additive additional feed material is not a source of nutrients but able to improve the quality of rations.
Examples of feed additives are:
A. Antibiotics
Antibiotics are used suppress the growth of harmful microorganisms that may be optimal absorption ration. Now the use of antibiotics reduced or even banned because of its adverse effects on humans.
B. Probiotics
Probiotic is a new breakthrough material is booming added in the ration because it can improve the quality of rations.
C. Enzymes

The enzyme is often used is the enzyme phytase and xylanase enzymes, and enzymes Lumbrokinase. Phytase enzymes break down phytic acid (anti-nutrients) in the feed material so that the protein, minerals can be used, Xylanase enzyme degrades the polysaccharide, hemicellulose (crude fiber) in feedstuffs, while Lumbrokinase is an enzyme of earthworms used for improvement of immunity itik.D. Mold Inhibutor is a feed ingredient is added to inhibit the growth of fungi. Mold Inhibutor commonly used is propionic acid and benzoat.E. Toxin BinderToxin binder binds toxins released by the fungi and the like then issued with feses.8. Test Field Rations With matter how good a formula that practice results prove it, for laying ducks feed should be tested with a little sample and the number of ducks because ducks conservative nature will change feed.
